Stranger Blend | Light Roast

Stranger Blend is our ever-evolving espresso blend, built around special coffees, unexpected flavour pairings and a clear roasting intention.

This latest version brings together four exceptional Ethiopian coffees from Yirgacheffe, Gedeo Zone, each contributing 25% to the blend. Two anaerobic co-fermented lots from Banko Chelchele, one with fresh pineapple and the other with fresh rosemary, introduce vibrant tropical fruit character, lifted florals and an unexpected aromatic complexity. The Banko Chelchele Anaerobic Natural adds ripe apricot sweetness, juicy fruit depth and body, while the Banko Tatatu Washed brings clarity, structure and a clean, refined finish.

As espresso, it opens with delicate floral aromatics, juicy apricot sweetness and an explosion of tropical fruit juice. Bright, expressive and beautifully layered, with a refreshing acidity and a lingering, fruit-driven finish.

It's a light roast, yet still tastes fully developed — how strange. And don't underestimate it in milk: it cuts through beautifully, bringing a surprisingly juicy, tropical sweetness to every cup.
