Nuwa Senchi sits on sandy loam soils, with flowering from September to January, harvest from July to December, and a shipping season from August to January. Though born in Cajamarca, Sonia found her path in Guamboya, where coffee became both passion and purpose. With degrees in Systems Engineering and Marketing, she brings a rare blend of technical rigour and brand-minded quality control to farm management. At 22, she and her brother launched their coffee project, focusing on distinguished varieties such as Geisha and Marshell—a rare, locally selected Bourbon-related variety from Cajamarca that has gained attention for its clarity and sweetness. Today, Sonia manages an expanding farm, represents Gocta Coffee, mentors young producers, and contributed her expertise as part of the Cup of Excellence Peru 2024 team
